Clare has lived in Bradford all her life. After completing her A Levels she started work with a high street bank on a Management Development Programme. She spent 21 years at the bank and worked her way up to a Senior Management position.
During 2013, Clare had the opportunity to take voluntary redundancy from her bank role and decided that she wanted to have a change of career. She had a strong interest in education and was already a school governor for a primary school in Kirklees. At this stage, Clare realised that her bank roles had provided her with skills that would be transferable to a School Business Management position.
Whilst completing her Certificate in School Business Management, Clare was successful in obtaining her current position and has been with the school since September 2013.
When not in school, Clare enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, she enjoys reading and going to the gym. Clare thoroughly enjoys working at Dixons Marchbank and gets involved in all aspects of school life: she likes to get to know the children and she helps them achieve their full potential by endeavouring to ensure the school receives value from the money it spends on all aspects of school life.
