Helen Wrightson is originally from Durham and has taught in Bradford for all of her teaching career.
After finishing her first degree, she worked for a charity delivering drama workshops to adults with mental health issues and was subsequently asked to deliver drama workshops in a primary school in County Durham. This became a very successful venture and Helen worked in 4 different schools across the North-East. She then decided that a career in teaching was calling.
Helen returned to the University of Leeds to complete a PGCE in Primary Education and began teaching Year 1 in a Bradford primary. She worked there until January 2015 when she came to Dixons Marchbank as an ICT lead. Since then Helen has progressed to a member of the Senior Leadership Team in an Assistant Principal role.
