Block planning curriculum

Our balanced curriculum mixes traditional and holistic learning. For the next academic year, we are developing a block planning curriculum which will give pupils more time to immerse themselves in subjects, such as the arts, which currently have fewer teaching hours. Instead of experiencing these subjects for a couple of hours a week, our block planning will take into consideration the time spent on a subject over the course of the term and allow pupils to take part in these classes in larger blocks of time. We believe that this will allow our pupils more time to engage with the subject and develop a deeper sense of learning.
