Dixons Marchbank 2- to 5-year plan:
- Tailor the environment and adapting teaching to meet the needs of students with complex SEND in the EYFS.
- Inclusion: adopt a practice of inclusive teaching across the academy, scaffolding learning and resources to encourage independence and improve outcomes (EEF Moving Forwards, Making a Difference 2022).
- Staff structure / specialist teachers: move towards a model of specialist teaching in specific subjects.
- Change the focus of English teaching to embed basic skills across the academy in order to raise attainment at the end of KS2.
